Studying abroad is an incredibly unique experience, one that is often only offered once in a student’s life. Every year, UVM sends around 700 students on a variety of study abroad programs. For many of these students, the impact of study abroad goes beyond the excitement of traveling to a new country. Students return to UVM with added knowledge and skills that will help them academically, professionally and personally.

“After hours of shopping for genuine ingredients and cooking Mom's recipes, Thanksgiving was a huge success feeding over 20 hungry mouths! There's nothing quite like explaining to Brits why there are marshmallows on the sweet potatoes or how pumpkin puree is made. To top it all off, we even went around the table and said what we were thankful for.”
